Is Ready at 65 part of Medicare or Social Security?
No. It’s an independent educational guide from Ready Reckoner LLC. Signing up for Medicare is free through Social Security. For one-on-one help, your state’s SHIP program offers free counseling at shiphelp.org or 1-877-839-2675.
Does the app send my answers anywhere?
No. Your answers stay on your phone. There’s no account, and the app has no tracking or advertising.
How do I move Plus to a new phone?
Install Ready at 65 on the new phone, open People and settings, and choose Restore an earlier purchase. Use the same Apple Account or Google account you bought Plus with. There’s no charge.
Why aren’t my reminders showing up?
Check that notifications are allowed for Ready at 65 in your phone’s settings. Reminders are set on each phone separately, so on a new phone, turn them on again in People and settings.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases go through Apple or Google, so they handle refunds. For an iPhone purchase, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. For Android, request a refund from your order history in Google Play.
How do I erase my information?
Open People and settings and choose Erase everything on this phone. This deletes every person, answer and check mark, along with any dates the app added to your calendar. Plus stays unlocked.
Where do the dates and costs come from?
From Medicare.gov, the Social Security Administration and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Each rule in the app links to its source. We update the app when Medicare announces new costs each fall, and About this app shows when the figures were last checked.
